Open Administration for Schools
Open Administration for Schools (OAfS) is a Web-based school administration package. Open Admin does demographics, attendance, discipline, report cards, and has an online gradebook and parent viewing function. It is designed for elementary, K-12, and high schools. It generates plain HTML and uses LaTeX for PDF generation. It also includes special education and division-wide central office modules (all schools run on the same server with different virtual sites; two sites per school, one for teachers, and one for the office). Parent functions are by separate parent/school site.

Release Notes: This release adds single logon for the teacher site, an announcement system (parent, teacher, admin), and updates to a variety of other systems. Support for the Canadian First Nations INAC (federal) nominal roll system (based on XML transfers) was added. It also adds scripts for the Alberta Education system for transferring data to provincial authorities. The installation/update system was updated.

Release Notes: This release updates several areas, including report card area scripting. It adds no new features, they will be coming in the 7.0 release.

Release Notes: This adds a new textbook management system and various other smaller tweaks.

Release Notes: A new homework system and new Moodle 1.9.x external database support. The Fees system was updated along with subjects and the subject enrollment system. There were many phrase reductions and rewrites, and many other smaller improvements including reduced HTML page parameter passing.
